Spotlight on The Sentry Marketing Group:
This interview was held with David Agius, the owner of The Sentry Marketing Group…
Tell us about your business, Dave
The Sentry Marketing Group was founded to help businesses of all sizes with their efforts to deliver a consistently outstanding customer experience. We custom design service evaluations programs that use mystery shoppers to gauge the employee/customer interaction. These programs typically measure all aspects of a customer's experience including a telephone interaction, arrival at the business, interaction with employees and state of the facility.
We also work with businesses who sell their products through retailers or restaurants. These programs usually focus on the employee's product presentation, product knowledge, overall enthusiasm as well as the product placement and display.
Programs can range from purely anonymous evaluations to "reward shops" where an employee is given a reward (gift card, cash, etc.) for successfully presenting or offering a particular product. We also offer telephone evaluations where the interaction is recorded as well as telephone or web based surveys.
Very interesting. So what makes you different from your competition? What makes your business unique?
We deliver the big value of a large organization with the personal attention of a small, boutique outfit. The focus is on designing a program that exactly fits each client's needs, implementing the project and delivering meaningful data to the client. We have full time IT and scheduling support and can handle projects ranging from one store locally to a chain with stores spread thought-out the country.
Each client is given a dedicated website where evaluation results, performance reports and statistical analysis reports are kept. Clients have access to their data 24/7. Our state of the art software allows us to custom design projects for any client and project, no matter how big or small, local or national in scope.
The technology allows us to focus on delivering exactly what our customers need. No matter how large or small the projects, each company will receive the personal attention that will make them feel like they are our only client.
How does someone find you?
They call us at 214-783-9461, visit our website at http://www.sentrymarketinggroup.com or email me at dave@sentrymarketinggroup.com
Everybody loves a special, Dave. Any special offer for newsletter readers?
We'll waive all setup fees (usually $99 - $399).
That’s great. Really takes away any reason not to at least give you guys a try. Ok, since I love music so much, tell us what kind of music are you listening to these days?
I'm all over the board but you'll find Audioslave, The Cult and Beautiful People in my CD player. The Beautiful People CD is an interesting collection of songs that use samples of classic Hendrix music.
Sounds like you might be a fan of JACK-FM. They are also all over the board with what they play. Dave, anything else our readers should know about you?
This company is a labor of love for me. There's nothing more satisfying then helping a business improve their operation. In today's hypercompetitive market, it's crucial that businesses constantly assess their operation from a customer's point of view. A properly designed and implemented mystery shopping program can provide businesses invaluable real time market information. I started SMG to deliver this valuable service, at an affordable cost, to businesses of all size.
Table of Contents:
Because this newsletter continues to grow in size (there is just so much going on around here!), I have decided to add a table of contents. It’s not a clickable table of contents, yet, it is simply a listing, in order, of everything in this newsletter. For those of you who submit things to me to be added to the newsletter, you may want to consider using descriptive titles for your submission in the future, otherwise I will continue to make them up..
Participate in the Pledge of Allegiance at City Council Meetings:

Our regular meetings are the first and third Tuesday of each month and the Pledge is at 6:30 p.m.

CHDs are currently the leading cause of death within the first year of life and are the most common birth defect. 40,000 children will be born this year with a heart defect - many of those will be right here in the DFW metroplex. The money raised last year has already supported research that could make an impact on any child who must undergo open heart surgery. As parents who lost their child to a CHD, we were shocked to learn about the lack of funding available for research. We need your help to make a difference!
